Design leader helping organizations navigate change, create clarity, and build experiences people love.

For more than 20 years, I've helped organizations navigate change, align around what matters, and create experiences people love.

My career has taken me from global brands and venture-backed startups to mission-driven organizations, leading initiatives that span brand strategy, product design, customer experience, storytelling, and team leadership.

I do my best work at the intersection of strategy and execution, helping teams move from ambiguity to clarity and turning complex challenges into meaningful experiences that create value for both customers and businesses.

How I Lead

Player-Coach Leadership

Throughout my career, I've operated as a player-coach, moving fluidly between executive leadership and hands-on execution.

I enjoy helping organizations make strategic decisions while also working alongside teams to bring those decisions to life.

Whether mentoring designers, facilitating executive alignment, shaping product strategy, or refining the details of an experience, I believe the best leaders remain connected to the work and the people doing it.

What I Help Organizations Do

Navigating Transformation

Organizations rarely struggle because they lack ideas. More often, they struggle because growth creates complexity.

Throughout my career, I've helped teams navigate moments of transformation by:

  • Aligning stakeholders around a shared vision

  • Evolving brands to reflect changing realities

  • Simplifying complex customer experiences

  • Building stronger design and cross-functional teams

  • Turning strategy into actionable plans

My role is often helping organizations move from ambiguity to clarity, complexity to simplicity, and disconnected efforts to shared momentum.

Beyond Work

Social Good

I believe that we're not meant to navigate life alone. At our best, we help carry one another through challenges, celebrate each other's victories, and leave things a little better than we found them. Whether through my work, my relationships, or my community, I'm drawn to opportunities that create connection, restore hope, and help people move forward. Success is measured not only by what we build, but by how we care for the people around us along the way.

Adventure

I was born and raised in the great northwest spending my time camping, hiking, fishing, biking, motorcycling, hunting, kayaking, snowboarding, surfing, etc. The world is a beautiful place, and I love to experience it first hand with a healthy dose of adrenaline. Now as I raise my three boys with my wife, we seek adventures together, instilling in them the same love for the great outdoors.
